Our Story Starts With Real People

We began Flexpoint Labs because we saw too many people struggling with nutrition plans that just didn't work in real life. Every client teaches us something new about balance, and that's exactly how we like it.

How We Actually Started

Back in 2019, our founder was working with athletes who kept asking the same question: "Why do all these meal plans assume I have three hours to prep every day?" That got us thinking.

We started small—just a few clients who wanted nutrition advice that fit their actual schedules. No perfect Instagram meals, no unrealistic expectations. Just practical eating strategies that worked with real jobs, real budgets, and real life.

"The best nutrition plan is the one you can actually stick to for more than two weeks."

By 2021, we were helping busy parents figure out family meals that everyone would eat. In 2023, we expanded to work with people managing health conditions who needed more than generic advice. Each client group taught us something different about flexibility.

Today, we work with people across the country who need nutrition planning that adapts to their lives, not the other way around. And we're still learning something new from every conversation.

Meet Our Team

Our lead nutritionist, Astrid Kellerman, spent five years working in clinical settings before realizing that most people needed guidance that worked outside hospital walls. She brings that practical clinical experience to every plan we create.

Our team includes registered dietitians, food science graduates, and—importantly—people who've actually tried to meal prep on a Sunday night after a long week. We test our own advice first.

What We Actually Believe

These aren't corporate mission statement buzzwords. These are the principles we use when we're deciding how to help you.

Real Life Comes First

Your nutrition plan needs to work around your job, your family, your budget, and your preferences. We start there and build from your actual reality, not some idealized version.

Progress Over Perfection

We'd rather see you succeed 80% of the time than fail perfectly. Small, consistent changes that stick beat dramatic overhauls that last two weeks.

No Judgment Zone

We've all eaten cereal for dinner or skipped vegetables for a week. Our job is to help you move forward from wherever you are right now, not lecture you about where you should be.
